In particular, she has gained a unique understanding of the IP issues relevant to Irish research institutes, technology transfer offices, start-up and early stage companies, and Irish public funding agencies. Tara’s unique experience was recognised in July 2009 when she was appointed by the Irish government to be a member of the National Innovation Task Force to support the development of the Smart Economy.
